Georgetown County Warrant Records Georgetown County Warrant Records

Call the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Warrants Unit for county arrest-process questions. For circuit or Family Court files, contact the Clerk of Court. City tickets belong with the municipal court named on the citation. Keep the case number handy. The booking page shows custody after service but cannot check every open warrant. Ask which office maintains the record. Confirm the correct counter before traveling or paying. Ask about current office hours, too. Call the Clerk before visiting.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Georgetown County Warrant Records is privately operated. We cannot check a government warrant system, clear or recall a warrant, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or provide legal advice. Contact the appropriate public office or a South Carolina attorney for those matters.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Start with the office that owns the record or performs the relevant service. Georgetown County does not publish one public search covering every active warrant.

  • County warrant-service questions: call the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit at (843) 546-5102. The unit manages and serves arrest warrants; it does not provide a countywide online active-warrant list.
  • A court date or case entry: contact the court that handled the case. The Clerk of Court at 401 Cleland Street, first-floor Room 115, Georgetown, handles General Sessions, Common Pleas, and Family Court records. Call (843) 545-3215; General Sessions can also be reached at (843) 545-3054.
  • A warrant issued by a city court: contact that municipal court directly. Georgetown, Andrews, and Pawleys Island have separate courts; a city police records form or ticket-payment page is not a warrant lookup.
  • Bond or custody after an arrest: contact Georgetown County Detention Center at (843) 545-3400, 2394 Browns Ferry Road. Booking and release information concerns people in custody, not all outstanding warrants.

The Sheriff’s Office main office is at 430 North Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440, and can be reached at (843) 546-5102. Ask which office holds a record before traveling. Office hours, payment options, and court procedures can vary by court and case type.

For South Carolina public-record requests, send the request to the government office that maintains the record. A request under the state Freedom of Information Act does not create an online warrant search, and law-enforcement records may be withheld under statutory exemptions.
